Don't feel bad. I just cleared out my friends list 'cause there were too many on there that either hadn't blogged in over a year or I hadn't heard from since I added them. If you wnat people you can potentially meet in person, that's your choice.

It doesn't sound mean to me ... it sounds organized.

You also have the option of adding other people and making all your Michigan friends you 'best friends.' That puts them at the top of your blog and friends list. Just FYI ... it still doesn't sound mean. :)
